Intermediate Orchestra
Intermediate Orchestra is a class designed for more experienced string players who are ready to elevate their musical abilities to new heights. This class is perfect for those who have a solid foundation on their instrument.

In this class, students will explore a wide range of musical styles, from classical to contemporary. Key areas of focus will also include sight-reading, full ensemble playing, and the refinement of intonation and technique. Admission to Intermediate Orchestra is by audition only, ensuring that all members are prepared to meet the challenges of more difficult techniques and musical pieces.

Throughout the year, students may have additional opportunities to showcase their talents beyond the two annual GCHFA concerts. Our Intermediate Orchestra not only focuses on musical excellence but also fosters a supportive and collaborative environment where students can grow both as musicians and as individuals.
An audition is required in order to participate.
*Classes would be 3x this price without the generosity of our annual donors!
The standard yearly enrollment fee is $150.
Register early to save—$100 before August 1, $125 before September 1.
