If your child is interested in learning to play a band or string instrument, please view the Instrument Demo videos by clicking the button below if you haven't had an opportunity to make it to our of our instrument fittings.

Sign up for one of our free instrument fittings to see and try the instruments in person.

If your child is undecided about an instrument, you can still enroll and select “Applied String Undecided” or “Beginning Band Undecided" when choosing your classes.
Supplies & Rentals

Books used for band and orchestra are Essential Elements by Hal Leonard. We will have these available for purchase through GCHFA or you may order them through a local music store or Amazon prior to our orientation.

Black music stands are required for students in band, orchestra or recorder. There are many types including portable ones like this one from Amazon that comes with accessories: https://a.co/d/3ZSPMnW

Every student who enrolls will receive a black GCHFA polo shirt. We sell used and new shirts for those who want an extra one.

By enrolling, you will be agreeing to abide by our code of conduct, which is included in our Program Guide. Be sure to go over it with your children before you enroll!

Please remember that GCHFA is a full year program—the cost for the entire year is to be paid even if you choose to withdraw from the program.
