Rebecca Kellerman-Filsell
Boys Choir, Mixed Choir, Music Theory II & III
Rebecca Kellerman-Filsell is a choral specialist with 30+ years of experience singing, teaching, and leading choral programs. Rebecca serves as Assistant Artistic Director of Sarasota Young Voices and is the former Music Associate for Children and Youth at Saint Thomas Church in New York City where she founded their children’s choir, The Noble Singers. She also taught the probationer choristers of the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys and served as Co-Director of the Saint Thomas Girl Chorister Course where she introduced the new Choral and Organ Scholar programs.
Rebecca holds a BM and MM in Voice Performance from Shenandoah University. She has also pursued advanced studies in Music Education and Vocal Pedagogy and is currently working toward certification in the Kodaly Music Method. She enjoys leading workshops for choral singers of all ages and sharing her passion for choral singing with choirs and choristers around the country.
