Monique O'Neill

Mrs. Monique (Garza) O’Neill received her Bachelor of Music cum laude in Violin Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and has completed the Suzuki Association of the Americas’ violin teacher training in multiple books, as well as the Teacher Practicum.

While living in Cincinnati, she taught at the Musical Arts Center for 8 years, coordinated and performed with groups of her students at local outreach events, and lead group string instruction for Cincinnati Public Schools. Monique’s professional performance experience includes the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, the Lebanon Symphony Orchestra and she most recently performed with the Queen City Chamber Orchestra, both as a soloist and in the ensemble.

Monique moved to the Sarasota, FL area in 2021. Her children take lessons at the Suzuki Institute School of Music, and she is now teaching there as well. She also assists and teaches at GCHFA where her children participate.
