Amanda Bauman

Amanda Bauman earned her Bachelor of Music Education from Florida State University and her Masters of Education with an emphasis on Learning and Technology from Western Governors University. As a long-standing member of the Florida Orchestra Association, she is also a Board Approved Adjudicator and is currently the District Chair for our area.

Amanda has spent over lapping time being a Church Choir Director for 11 years, a Band Educator and/or performer for 15 years, and a Strings Educator and performer for over 22 years. She is a current member of Strings Con Brio and has personally performed with David Wallace, Chuck Bontrager, Val Vigoda, and Mark Wood.

Amanda’s desire to serve God, her passion for teaching and enthusiasm for music have brought her to GCHFA. Having recently retired from the public school system she will also be starting a private lessons studio while enjoying a bit more time with her husband James and their 2 rescue dogs.
