This developing class is designed for advanced level string musicians who are excited to learn and ultimately perform a diverse repertoire in a dynamic ensemble setting. Students will experiment with a variety of musical styles, rehearsal approaches, and performance formats to discover what type of group best reflects their interests and strengths.

 

Through collaboration, creativity, and guided instruction, participants will help shape the direction of the ensemble while building essential musicianship, listening, and teamwork skills. Students will have an active voice in creating a musical experience that is engaging, challenging, and fun.

 

Enrollment in the Bravura ensemble is by invitation this year. The invitation will be extended to students who have been accepted into the 2026-27 Advanced Orchestra. Students are expected to continue performing and practicing in both ensembles.
