Mixed Choir

Age: 12+

Time: Mondays, 9:30 - 10:45 am
Annual Class Fee: $260*

Instructor: Rebecca Kellerman-Filsell

GCHFA’s Mixed Choir is designed for young ladies and gentlemen with mature voices. Admission to this class will be based on a required vocal placement assessment to ensure that each student is ready for the advanced vocal work and artistic growth that this class offers.

In this class, students will engage with a variety of musical genres and styles, all of which will challenge and refine their vocal abilities. They will master the art of singing in 3 and 4-part harmony, developing a keen ear for balance and blend within the choir.

Performances are an integral part of the Mixed Choir experience. Students will showcase their progress and talent at the Winter and Spring concerts, as well as at other potential events throughout the year. These performances offer invaluable opportunities for students to build confidence and share their love of music with the community.

It is highly recommended that students simultaneously participate in a theory class. Those with previous theory experience may take a placement test to find the most appropriate level for them. Be sure to add it to your cart when enrolling!

*Classes would be 3x this price without the generosity of our annual donors!

The standard yearly enrollment fee is $150.

Register early to save—$100 before August 1, $125 before September 1.
