Lewis Rosove

Advanced Orchestra

Mr. Lewis Rosove, music director of the Advanced Orchestra, moved to the Sarasota area with his wife Sandra in November,2021. He earned his BA and MA in Music Performance at California State University, Northridge. He was assistant principal viola for twenty-two seasons with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Rosove has been active as a chamber musician, private studio teacher, clinician, and spokesperson for the arts. Many of his students have gone on to successful careersin professional orchestras, chamber music, and teaching.
